BA with emphasis in K-12 Art Education, a concentration in Art History and an endorsement in English, University of Northern Colorado

Personal Information:
I am a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, where my grandparents, parents and sister are also members. Before working at Shepherd, I worked for the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards for Colorado. I am so blessed to be an art teacher. Teaching art is my dream job. I love getting my hands messy and working with all art mediums. It is rewarding to see the students have an opportunity to be creative and inspired to complete their own art work.

Dance classes, painting with little sister

Fun Fact:
I could not ride a bicycle until I was twelve years old because a hole in my right ear drum threw off my balance.

What I love about my position:
What I like most about teaching at Shepherd is the opportunity to speak freely about God and the love He has for us.

Bible Verse with Special Meaning:
Psalm 34: 19-20, “A righteous man may have many troubles but the LORD delivers him from them all; he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken.” God doesn’t promise a live without hardships, but He does promise to be faithful to us and bring us through the ups and downs of life.
