Favorite Bible Verse:
2 Corinthians 12:9-10, “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships,in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” We did a devotion my first year teaching at Shepherd about the cracked pot and how the pot felt like a failure because he couldn’t carry as much water as the other pots. It was pointed out to the pot that flowers were growing along his side of the road and those flowers brought happiness to many., This made a lasting impact on me to embrace my imperfections and those of my students and find how to make negatives a positive.
